Verpact continuously optimises the Fee Modulation Plastic scheme to make it increasingly simple and transparent. Have you already adapted your packaging to the previous Fee Modulation schemes? Then you will also be eligible for the discounts under the 2025 scheme.

For 2025, we have once again introduced a number of improvements.

The Fee Modulation Plastic 2025 scheme replaces the Fee Modulation Plastic scheme, which was in effect until 31 December 2024.

Fee Modulation model: 

All* plastic packaging that consists of at least 50% plastic (by weight) may be eligible for the tariff discounts under Fee Modulation Plastic 2025. These packages must be broken down into disposal units. Each disposal unit will then be assessed.

As shown in the model, you can receive up to five different discounts on your disposal unit.

* Deposit-return packaging and packaging that already receive discounts through the business packaging scheme or other arrangements are excluded from the discounts of Fee Modulation Plastic.
