What can you expect?
The process step by step
- Are you filing a declaration for the first time? If so, sign up first.
- You will receive your personal login details by e-mail in order to submit your notification.
- You enter your notification. You provide an estimate of the kilogrammes for the current declaration year. For previous years, you use the actual number of kilogrammes.
- You will file your definitive declaration in the year following your notification by 1 April. Your estimate is then converted into the number of kilogrammes actually released on the market.
- You will receive a final bill on the basis of your declaration for the past calendar year. You will receive the final invoice by e-mail after the summer and you can view it in PackTool. Have you overpaid? If so, you will be given a refund for that amount.
- Using your declaration, we will issue a new notification (assessment) for the current calendar year.
