-- Pack for the Future 2026 -- From Packaging Challenge to Packaging Solution
On 16 June 2026, the second edition of Pack for the Future took place at the Chassé Theater in Breda. With a strong turnout of professionals from across the entire packaging chain, we look back on an inspiring and valuable day. The event once again highlighted that the transition to fully recyclable packaging is only possible through close collaboration within the chain and across national borders. The combination of practical cases, innovative solutions and in-depth knowledge sharing made it clear that the direction is set — and that scaling up is now the next step.

During the event, new connections were made and valuable conversations were started. We encourage all participants to continue this collaboration and turn insights into concrete actions. About Pack for the Future
Pack for the Future is a combination of a trade fair, conference, and networking event, organized by Verpact and Fost Plus in collaboration with Wageningen University & Research. More than 250 professionals from the Netherlands and Belgium will come together to translate new regulations and ambitions into actionable steps toward 100% recyclable packaging.
The program includes various in-depth sessions addressing the latest developments in the value chain. Topics include the latest status of the PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation), the impact of labels and adhesives on recyclability, and the newest insights in recyclability and packaging design. Exhibitors will present their solutions on the trade floor, and there will also be dedicated networking opportunities.
